Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

TradeHire, is committed to ensuring the platform is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

We believe that licensed tradespeople and the employers who need them should be able to use TradeHire regardless of disability status or assistive technology preference.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML structure throughout the platform to support screen readers
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios across text and background combinations
  • Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements
  • ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and interactive elements
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images
  • Focus indicators visible on all focusable elements
  • Form fields with associated, descriptive labels
  • Error messages associated with their form fields
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second

Known Limitations

  • We are actively developing TradeHire and some features may not yet meet full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
  • Third-party components integrated into the platform may have accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control.
  • The Twilio-powered communication system relies on telephony functionality that may require screen reader support at the device level.
  • We are documenting known issues and prioritizing accessibility fixes in our development roadmap.

  • Current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on desktop
  • iOS Safari and Android Chrome on mobile
  • NVDA and JAWS screen readers on Windows (testing in progress)
  • VoiceOver on macOS and iOS (testing in progress)
  • High contrast mode on Windows

  • We will respond within 3 business days and provide a workaround or timeline for a fix.
