Billing Terms

These Billing Terms explain the fees charged on the TradeHire platform, how and when they are collected, and your cancellation and refund rights. They supplement, and are incorporated by reference into, the Terms of Service. By subscribing to a membership or scheduling an interview, you authorize the charges described below. All amounts are in U.S. dollars and processed by our payment processor, Authorize.Net; TradeHire never stores your full card number.

1. Technician Membership — $10.00 / month

  • A technician membership costs $10.00 (USD) per month, billed in advance for a recurring 30-day period.
  • Membership is required to apply to jobs, be contacted by employers, and reach Master tradespeople. Browsing the marketplace remains free.
  • Your card is securely vaulted with our payment processor at sign-up and the $10.00 fee renews automatically each period until you cancel.
  • You may cancel at any time from Settings → Membership. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Membership fees already billed are non-refundable, including for partial periods of use.

2. Employer Membership — $100.00 / month

  • An employer membership costs $100.00 (USD) per month, billed in advance for a recurring 30-day period.
  • Posting jobs is always free and unlimited. Membership unlocks unlimited search and candidate communication.
  • Your card is securely vaulted at sign-up and the $100.00 fee renews automatically each period until you cancel.
  • You may cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. You keep access through the end of the paid period. Membership fees already billed are non-refundable.

3. Confirmed-Interview Fee — $25.00 per call

  • A $25.00 (USD) fee applies for each confirmed interview call conducted through TradeHire. For job interviews the fee is paid by the employer; for mentor-match calls the fee is paid by the mentee.
  • The fee is NOT charged when you schedule a call. It is assessed only AFTER the call takes place and is reviewed.
  • Every call is recorded (with both parties' consent) and analyzed by an automated AI system that grades whether a genuine, substantive interview took place.
  • If the AI grades the call as a legitimate interview, the $25.00 fee is automatically charged to the vaulted card on file. If the call is graded as not legitimate (for example a no-show, wrong number, empty call, or spam), no fee is charged.
  • Calls the AI cannot clearly grade are held for manual review before any charge is applied. Calls shorter than 30 seconds are never charged.
  • Once a legitimately graded call has taken place, the $25.00 fee is non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Mentor-Match Request Fee — $5.00

  • Requesting a mentor-match call with a Master tradesperson costs a one-time $5.00 (USD) request fee, charged when you submit the request.
  • If the mentor call later takes place and is graded as legitimate, the separate $25.00 confirmed-call fee in Section 3 also applies to the mentee.
  • The $5.00 request fee is non-refundable once the invitation has been sent to the mentor.

5. Automatic Renewal & Stored Cards

  • Memberships renew automatically. By subscribing you authorize TradeHire to charge your stored payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.
  • By completing a membership checkout you also authorize TradeHire to store your card and to charge the applicable per-interview fees described in Section 3 without re-entering card details.
  • If a renewal or fee charge is declined, we will notify you and may pause your access until payment succeeds.

6. Disputes

  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@tradehire.com within 30 days of the charge.
  • We review billing disputes and respond within 5 business days. Where a charge was applied in error, we will refund it.
  • Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.

7. Changes to Fees

  • We may change membership prices or the per-interview fee. We will notify active members by email at least 30 days before a price change takes effect.
  • Continued use of the platform after a price change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
