Electricians install, repair and inspect wiring, panels, lighting and controls in homes, commercial buildings and industrial plants, working to the National Electrical Code. Livermore is in Androscoggin County, whose county seat is Auburn and whose population was 111,139 in 2020. TradeHire shows postings at county level, so this page lists every electrician opening in Androscoggin County, not only those in Livermore itself.

8.8% of occupied homes in Androscoggin County heat mainly with electricity, 58.9% still with fuel oil, the median home was built in 1969 and 25.9% of units date from before 1940 (ACS 2020-2024 5-year estimates). Older housing is where service upgrades, panel replacements and rewiring to current code come up most, and every heat pump or EV charger added to an existing home needs electrical capacity behind it.
